On Tuesday 31st January, a few of the Year 5 and 6 girls attended the actual U11 Girls’ Hockey Tournament hosted by Weston Green. We started the day well with a strong 1-0 win against Skippers Hill, a team who have won the tournament six years in a row.
The third and fourth positions came down to level points so this meant the girls had to have one last push in the third and fourth playoff. We battled and gave it our all. We had a few clear chances, by gripping on to the last bit of energy we had in the tank. It was such a close game but sadly we lost 2-0.
An excellent performance by all of the girls. Thank you to the parents for their support.
