On Tuesday 11th June, we held what has become our annual Charity Book Sale. We brought in preloved books and they were laid out in the BWA hall ready for the sale.
We managed to raise just over £214.35 for the National Brain Appeal – Funding Advances in Neurology and Neurosurgery. Leftover books were bagged up and were then collected by the Children’s Book Project which gifts preloved books in good condition to children in the UK who have few books of their own. It has been great to be able to support these two amazing charities.
Thank you to Myla P and Surina R, our school librarians, who worked so hard in preparation for the sale and on the day itself too.
