Entry is normally in the Autumn Term. The Acceptance Deposit of £500.00 will be reimbursed, less outstanding disbursements, at the end of the pupil’s final term. If the place is not taken up, the deposit will only be refunded in accordance with the Standard Terms and Conditions.
A 5% discount is given to siblings of any child attending the school.
Fees are payable in advance on or before the first day of each term. A full term’s notice in writing must be given of the removal of a pupil, otherwise a full term’s fees are due in lieu of notice. Parents have the option of spreading the payment of fees. The school has entered into an arrangement with School Fee Plan to administer a monthly direct debit collection scheme. Details available from the Bursar.
No rebate is allowed by the School for absences. Pupil’s Personal Accident Insurance is offered free of charge.
Early Year’s Grants
15 hours grant funding is available for 3 and 4 year olds. Please contact the School’s Bursar on 01883 343344 for full details or visit Surrey County Councils’ website.
Pre-Reception and Reception (Lower Kindergarten and Kindergarten) at Oakhyrst Grange School
Places are allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. We operate a registrations’ list for several years ahead and once your child is registered (by completing a registration form and paying a deposit) you will be added to the list and given priority over later applicants. As our class sizes are kept small (no more than 20), we recommend that you register as early as possible.
Our main intake is in our Pre-Reception class (Lower Kindergarten) where new pupils attend on five mornings and have the option of choosing additional afternoons or full time. Pupils must be 4 years old during the academic year in which they join the School.
Years 1-6 at Oakhyrst Grange School
Entry into these classes is based on availability of places. We do not operate a system of formal entrance exams, but upon receipt of your application your child will be invited to spend a ‘taster day’ with their class where they will sit informal tests in English, Maths and reading. Your child will also have the opportunity to meet their teacher and the rest of the class.

Open Mornings & School Visits
We hold three Open Mornings during the course of the academic year: in January, May and October.
Each visit involves a guided tour by pupils from Year 4 and an opportunity to talk to members of staff and the Headmaster.
Everyone is welcome to attend one of our Open Mornings however, if you are interested in having a private tour of the school and an opportunity to discuss your child’s education with the Headmaster, then please contact his PA on 01883 343344.
We look forward to meeting you and welcoming your children to our family-orientated, friendly community.
